Medications

The Medication resource provides a coded or textual representation of a medication used for prescribing, dispensing, or administering. It is used to define medications referenced in other resources (like MedicationRequest or MedicationStatement) and aligns with the US Core Medication Profile under USCDI v2.
APIs under this group allow retrieval of medication definitions either by unique ID or associated patient reference.

Included Endpoints#

Get Medication by ID
Returns a specific Medication resource using its unique ID.
Get Medications by Patient
Returns a list of Medication resources linked to a given patient using the patient query parameter.
